Thieves who steal these are Pros

You'd think size, weight, and the complexity of removing these from their mounts up on a wall would make televisions and digital signs unlikely targets, but it simply means this work is limited to pros. On large sites they might even dress in uniform, have an official work order in hand, maybe even ask your reception for a step stool. (We didn't make this up; it's happened.)

Security locks can secure televisions on a mount, but thieves are known to cut them, or simply pry the entire mount off the wall. So then you have to both fix a wall and replace a television.

Thieves can and sometimes do these things in full view. Nobody pays them any notice. Defensive measures slow thieves, but they're not afraid of them.

Sonic Shock is an

Offensive Defense

Thieves Hate Noise

Thieves want to blend with the floor.  They don't want you to NOTICE them, recall when they were there, who they were, what they looked like.

Toxic for Thieves

Noise, any unusual noise at all, attracts attention thieves don't want, or it betrays thieves masquerading as legitimate service technicians. Most pros just walk away, which is the best outcome. Better than catching somebody is having no one doing anything worth catching.

Pain in the butt to pry off

High grade Stainless Steel, spot welds, and polycarbonate or aluminum mounting plate, all affixed with industrial methyl methacrylate structural adhesive. If they get it off, what's left won't sell for much, assuming it even still works.

More potent than Physical Security

Cables are quickly cut, or whatever they're tethered to busted up. Sonic Shock isn't a cure for cancer, but if cables alone worked, you wouldn't be reading this.

But not a Pain in your butt

ZERO false alarms. You can bump into it, whack it with a basket ball, swing or adjust the TV on its mount within limit of the tether. No low battery beeps: the battery will last 5 years and is easy to replace. You can get all your alarms keyed alike. And if you buy more, you can still get that same key code.

Security that's invisible

Customers use both our Sonic Shock Plasma and Sonic Shock 5 alarms to protect televisions and other flat panel displays. The alarm is mounted on the backside so it's not seen, but still allows minor positioning and serivce adjustments without having to actually disarm the alarm.

No place to attach the Sensor?
Our Anchor Point Sensor creates one

Instead of the Standard supplied sensor you can specify the Anchor Point Sensor. Peel-n-stick it onto the wall behind the panel.  It has a detector switch in case someone tries to pry it off, and the inside is booby trapped in case thieves try to break it open.

Technical features

5 Year Battery Life

It'll take 50 years for monitoring alone to drain the battery, but we suggest replacing at 5 years (alkaline batteries have roughly a 5 year shelf life), sooner if an alarm has sounded for a while.

2 Hour / 1 Hour Siren

Thieves can't just wait it out. Once triggered the alarm doesn't stop until you shut it off or the battery dies – with the Sonic Shock 5 that means 2 hours. The louder and larger Sonic Shock Plasma, 1 hour.

Many alarms | One key

You can get all your alarms coded to the same key code. And if you buy additional alarms, even years later, you can get the same key code. Won't cost extra or take longer because it's a "custom" order. Every order we do is custom.

Changeable Core Locks

If ever your keys become compromised, you can change the lock cores to a new key code. We sell new cores for a nominal charge. If you wish to send us your old cores, we will buy them back for the same price.

Reusable

If you replace equipment, you can reuse the alarm simply by buying a new baseplate. We stock and offer parts for reasonable prices for every model we've ever sold – even for models 20 years old.

World's Strongest Glue

Mounting plates are affixed with the same 2-part methacrylate adhesive, used commercially for things that must not come apart: trucks, cars, autos, and orthopaedic bone surgery. There are cheaper and easier adhesives competitive products use. Easier for thieves too.

The Kits

Customers deploy both Sonic Shock 5 and Sonic Shock Plasma to protect Flat Planel displays. Our Sonic Shock Plasma "full" kit pictured below has everything you need: an alarm module, base plate, glue, sensor tether assembly, and keys. And two warning stickers; we really prefer thieves simply just leave.
If you're installing many alarms in one go, you can get substantial economies by buying our "commercial kits" which have everything BUT glue and keys, You need buy only the glue and keys you actually need rather than the default supplied in the full kits.
