All Sonic Shock Alarms use changeable core locks, enabling you to quickly swap a lock core for one operable with a different key.
We sell replacement lock cores for a nominal charge. If you choose to ship your old cores back to us, and we'll reimburse you the same amount you paid us for the new ones.

Why change keying?

You might want to change the keying of your alarms if you believe your key has been compromised,

OR

If you want if you have different key codes and would like them to be the same

OR

You are moving an alarm from one key code group to another.

What you need

A replacement lock core coded to the new key code AND A lock core change key. (This is different from a regular key.) If you are switching to a new key code you've never had before, you will also need to order new operating keys.

Cores can only be changed when the alarm is unlocked. Changing a lock core is not a solution if you've lost your alarm key
